Robb Water Partners is a Manhattan based advisory and consulting firm providing research, analysis, and guidance to water districts, organizations, and federal and regional stakeholders interested in water policy and regulatory issues though the clear lens of sustainability.

Kathy Robb is a nationally recognized water policy expert and environmental lawyer with over 35 years of experience. Over the course of her career, Robb has addressed water policy from all sides. From water-driven litigation and advice on transactions to environmental impact, endangered species work, and water supply and quality issues. She has worked with water districts, investors, developers, lenders, energy, industrial, and paper companies across the U.S. in state, federal and the U.S. Supreme courts.

 While a partner at Hunton & Williams, she co-headed the environmental practice and founded the Water Policy Institute, addressing contaminated river and groundwater sites, water supply issues, regulatory policy issues, and endangered species.  

Kathy is a founding director of BlueCommons, Inc., the preeminent non-profit revolving fund established to underwrite a national community Blue Bank to support sustainable water projects. From January, 2020 to May, 2021, she served as the CEO of Blue Access LLC, a sustainable finance company focused on water.  

She is the current president of the Environmental Law Institute's Leadership Council in Washington, DC and the vice chair of the Waterfront Alliance, headquartered in New York City.  She was elected to the American College of Environmental Lawyers in 2016, and named as one of the "Sustainable 100" by New York's City and State in 2017. She currently also chairs the Board of the National Water Law Forum,

 Kathy has taught courses on international environmental law and human rights at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University and regularly speaks and writes on water law and policy issues.
